Camp at Anna Banana

Federal Holiday & DCPS Day Camps
FULL-DAY art camps 9am-3pm for Ages 4-8

Federal Holiday/DCPS Day off art camps at Anna Banana are a fun and relaxing art time in the studio. Bring two snacks (one for morning and one for afternoon) and a water bottle.

We start the morning with free draw with markers, pencils, crayons and pens. After everyone is settled, we start an art project focused on an artist such as Picasso, Monet, Alex Katz or Wayne Thiebaud to name just a few.

Clean up, break for snack and then outside time across the street at the Jelleff Field for running around, games and blowing bubbles. Back to the studio for pizza lunch (provided).

Art project #2, another outside time/trip to the library/ or art gallery, afternoon snack, clean up, story time. Games and puzzles and dismissal at 3pm. The time goes quickly because we are busy and having arty fun!

Columbus Day Camp: Monday, October 12. 9am-3pm. 4-8 year olds only.

Veterans Day Camp: Wednesday, November 11. 9am-3pm. 4-8 year olds only.

Day Camp Details

  • 9:00am - 3:00pm

  • Minimum class size is 8 students, maximum 12 students.

  • Pizza lunch is provided (for one day Federal Holidays and DCPS days off only), bring two snacks and water bottle.

  • I always have a helper.

  • Info note is sent out the Wednesday before your camp week with details.

  • If you need to cancel, there is a $45. cancellation/admin fee.

  • $160.

    Summer Art Camp June 8 - September 4

    Summer Camp Cancellation Policy

  • A $75. per child/per week fee is charged for switching or cancelling weeks prior to May 1, so please select your dates carefully. You must email me to cancel.

  • After May 1, there are no refunds. Swapping or switching weeks is not permitted. Credits may not be carried over to another class or camp. There are no credits or funds for a missed day(s) of camp due to illness, travel plans or Dr. appointments.

  • If you can find someone to take your spot for the week, then a swap out is allowed. You arrange the swap and the fees amongst yourselves and loop me in via email. There is a $75. admin fee for a swap out. Arrangements must be made two weeks prior to your swap out.
