Classes/Camps

 

What is the age range for art classes?

Art classes are for children 2-12 year olds.

Summer art camp is for children age 4-8. Your child MUST be 4 by May 1 to attend summer art camp. No exceptions.

Classes are for 2-3 years olds in the morning and 4-12 years old after school. Wednesday classes are for 8-12 year olds.

*Your child must be potty trained for the drop off classes.

How do sessions work?

Students attend one day per week throughout the session. You choose the day/time.

Does my child have to sign up for a whole semester, or can we drop in to classes?

You must register for an entire session. We do not offer drop ins.

We offer half-day camps for Federal Holidays and for the week during the summer June-August. You can find details about these camps here.

What if my child is sick or we’re out of town? Can we make up a class?

We allow two make-up classes per session, *space allowing. Make-ups must be made up during the session for which you are registered and cannot be carried over to another session.

What is your summer camp cancellation policy?

There are no refunds after May 1st. Switching or swapping weeks is not permitted. If you can find someone to take your place, then a swap is permitted. You arrange the swap and fees. Just let me know your arrangements. There is a $25. fee per child/per week for switching weeks or canceling prior to May 1.

What if we decide we aren’t able to continue with classes at Anna Banana? What’s your cancelation policy?

If you cancel after the first class, you will be refunded for half the total amount. So, if you paid $250 for a session, you would be refunded $125. There are no refunds thereafter.

*There are no make-ups for weekend classes.

Refunds may not be carried over to another session.

There is a $25. administrative fee for cancellation of a Federal Holiday camp or DCPS Camp.

*Anna Banana reserves the right to cancel a class and/or camp due to low enrollment. You will be refunded in total, no admin fee, if a class and/or camp is canceled due to low enrollment.

Anna Banana Arts and Crafts, LLC reserves the right to dismiss any child they deem disruptive.

Payment

 

How much do your classes cost?

Class cost varies by the child’s age and date selected. You can see all of our pricing information here.

When is payment due?

Payment is due in full at the time of registration.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all forms of payment at this time except for Apple Pay. 

Do you offer prorated classes if my child starts a session late?

Classes are prorated through the first 2 weeks of the session. Please contact us for details. After that, session registration is closed.

Summer Art Camp and Half Day Federal Holiday Camps

 

When is Summer Art Camp?

Summer Art Camp starts the first week of June and runs through the next to last week of August. Register for the week. 9am-3pm.

When does Summer Art Camp registration open?

Summer Art Camp Registration opens in January.  You can register here.

How old are children at Summer Art Camp?

Summer Art Camp is for kids ages 4-8. Your child MUST be 4 by May 1. No exceptions please.

How much does Summer Art Camp cost?

Summer Art Camp costs $550 per week.

When is payment due?

Payment is due in full at the time of registration.

What is your camp make-up policy? Can I switch weeks?

There are no make-ups or refunds for Summer Art Camp absences. You may not switch weeks.

Our summer plans have changed and I need to cancel our Summer Art Camp registration. What is your refund policy?

We will refund your camp tuition if you cancel by May 1 of the current season. There are no refunds after May 1.

There is a $25. administrative fee for all cancellations on or before May 1.

Do you provide snacks and/or lunch for students in the Summer Art Camp?

Children bring their own snack and lunch.

But… Every Friday is pizza day and Anna Banana provides the pizza!

What is the Federal Half Day camp cancellation policy?

The are no refunds for Federal Half Day Camps, UNLESS you can find a replacement or I have a waitlist student who can take your place. A $25. cancellation fee applies. (even if you find a replacement or I can fill your spot)
